You will need both the 987 Thule Ski and Snowboard Rack and the 963 Spare Me Bike Carrier to attach the rack to your spare tire in order to carry skis and/or snowboards on your vehicle. 

987XT THULE® Ski and Snowboard Rack:  Converts Spare Me carrier to a ski carrier. Fits up to 6 pairs of skis or 4 snowboards. Locks included. New extended bracket allows thicker ski bindings Locking arm secures skis and snowboards in carrier Rubber strap included to secure skis while loading.

963XTR THULE® Spare Me Bike Carrier:  Heavy duty 2 bike spare tire carrier. New styling and bulletproof assembly. Updated, hi-tech look Improved wing-knob makes raising and lowering bike arms effortless and prevents the loss of hardware.

Note: Fits most Jeep Spare Tires, (will not fit the Rubicon or other oversized (thick) tires.)
